900 Maha athletes to participate in 37th National Sports Championship held from Oct 26 in Goa

Mumbai: With 900 athletes from Maharashtra are going to participate in 37th National Sports Championship due from October 26 in Goa under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, this time too athletes from the state will perform well, expressed Deputy Chief Minister and president of Maharashtra Olympics Association Ajit Pawar.


The state will get top position by winning the most medals, he expressed.


He made it clear that sportspersons of the state are being given all possible help with state-of-the-art training to win national and international medals.


Pawar has organised the ceremony of handing over the sports flag to the Maharashtra team of 1,100 members, including 900 athletes and 200 guides, who are going to participate in the 37th National Sports Games being held in Goa.
