Imphal: In the last 245 hours leading up to 5 pm on Wednesday, there was no report of any deaths in Manipur while 9 persons (4 males and 5 females) and 1 personnel of the Central Armed Police Force tested positive, as per an official release from the Covid-19 Common Control Room.
The 9 persons who tested positive from the general population include 3 each from Imphal West and 1 each from Churachandpur, Imphal East, Thoubal and Tamenglong.
Meanwhile, 2 persons recovered and were discharged, 1 each from Home Isolation and CAPF.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 29,223 (General Population — 25,791 and Central Security Personnel — 3,432). The cumulative number of recovered cases is 28,759 (General Population — 25, 342 and CAPF— 3,417 ). The number of active cases is 91 (general population 80 and CAPF 11). The recovery rate is 98.41%.

Total number of those vaccinated Wednesday is 4165 and the cumulative vaccination number is 32651.
The total number of health care workers who have been vaccinated is 25825 include the Directors of RIMS and JNIMS, CMOs, DFWOs DIOs of districts, chairman cum managing directors of Shija Hospital and Babina Diagnostics’.
There is no severe reaction/allergies, adverse event following immunization (AEFI) till date. There were 46 mild reactions who were on home care and all of them are now fully recovered, the release added.
