Imphal: Five persons tested Covid-19 positive and nine persons recovered in the past twenty-four hours leading up to 5 pm of Monday in Manipur. During the same period, there were no reports of any deaths.
The five persons (3M, 2F) from the general population include 1 each from Imphal East, Imphal West, Thoubal, Tamenglong and Tengnoupal. All necessary medical precautionary measures like containment and contact tracing are in place.
The nine persons who recovered and were discharged include 6 from home isolation, 2 from CAPF and 1 from SHRI.
The recovery rate is 98.53 96
The cumulative number of positive cases is 29.428 (General Population — 25.982 and Central Security Personnel — 3.446). The cumulative number of recovered cases is 28.997 (General Population — 25,561 and Central Sccurhy Personnel — 3,436). The number of active cases is 57 (General Population — 51 and Central Security Personnel — 6)
Air passengers who travelled to the State on April 2, 2021 by indigo flight 6E-6181 in rows 4 to 10, are to inform the Common Covid Control Room 18003453818 or respective District Surveillance Officers (DSO).
As on April 4, 2021, 78 persons were vaccinated is 78 and the cumulative number is 87719.
Till date, the total number of health care workers vaccinated is 31694. which includes the directors of RIMS, JNIMS, Family Welfare Services, State Mission Director and Director Health Services, the CMOs, DFWOs, DIOs of the districts, the Chairman cum Managing Directors of Shija Hospital and Babina Diagnostics.
There are no severe reactions/allergies, adverse event following immunization (AEFI) till date. There were 47 mild reactions who were on home care and all of them are now fully recovered.
