Imphal: in the last 24 hours leading up to 5:00 pm of Tuesday in Manipur two persons from the general population tested Covid-19 positive while two persons recovered and were discharged. During the same period there were no reports of any Covid related death, as per an official press note from the Covid-19 Common Control Room
The two persons (1 male and 1 female) who tested positive are from Kangpokpi and Ukhrul while the two persons who recovered are from CAPF and SHRI.
The cumulative death remains at 374 while the recovery rate now stands at 98.49%.
Meanwhile, the Health department has instructed air passengers who travelled to the state on March 27, 2021, by the Indigo flight 6E-2019 in rows 9-14 and in rows 22-28 and by Air Asia flight 15-7008 in rows 12-18 to inform Covid Common Control Room 1800343818 or respective District Surveillance Officer (DSO).
The cumulative number of positive cases is 29,393 (General Population — 25,951 and Central Security Personnel — 3,442). The cumulative number of recovered cases is 28,952 (General Population — 25,519 and CAPF— 3,433). The number of active cases is 67 (general population 62 and CAPF 5).
As per the latest information, the number of people vaccinated on March 29, is 24 and the cumulative vaccination number is 85731, the release added.
The total number of health care workers who have been vaccinated is 315292 which include the Directors of RIMS and JNIMS, CMOs, DFWOs DIOs of districts, chairman cum managing directors of Shija Hospital and Babina Diagnostics’.
