Imphal: Three people from the general population tested Covid-19 positive, while two persons recovered in the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Sunday in Manipur. During this period there were no reports of any deaths, as per an official release from the Covid-19 Common Control Room.
The recovery rate now stands at 98.62%.
The three positive persons (2 males and 1 female) are from imphal West, Imphal East and Kangpokpi while the two persons who recovered were on home isolation.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 29,335 (General Population — 25,897 and Central Security Personnel — 3,438). The cumulative number of recovered cases is 28,933 (General Population — 25,504 and CAPF— 3,429). The number of active cases is 29 (general population 24 and CAPF 5).
As per the latest information, the number of people vaccinated on March 20, is 1085 and the cumulative vaccination number is 81251, the release added.
The total number of health care workers who have been vaccinated is 31140 which include the Directors of RIMS and JNIMS, CMOs, DFWOs DIOs of districts, chairman cum managing directors of Shija Hospital and Babina Diagnostics’.
There are no severe reactions/allergies, adverse event following immunization till date. There were 47 mild reactions who were on home care and all of them have now fully recovered.
