78 new cases take Manipur’s cumulative positive cases to 1, 24,328

The lone person who succumbed to the deadly virus is from Imphal East, he was not vaccinated and had co-morbidities. The cumulative death toll in the state now stands at 1941.

Imphal: Manipur reported one related death,  78 positive cases (77 general population, one CAPF) and 40 43coveries in the last 24 hours leading up to 2 pm of Thursday,  as per an official release from the health department.

The lone person who succumbed to the deadly virus is from Imphal East, he was not vaccinated and had co-morbidities. The cumulative death toll in the state now stands at 1941.

Of the 77 persons who tested positive from the general population, 30 of them are from Imphal West, 23 from Imphal East, 17 from Churachandpur, two each from Senapati and Thoubal and one each from bishnupur, Chandel, Kakching and Ukhrul.

Altogether, 1,845 persons were tested giving a positivity rate of 4.2 %.

Meanwhile, 40 persons recovered and were discharged, 12 of them from home isolation, 13 from CCCs, 14 from JNIMS and one from RIMS. The recovery rate in the state now stands at 97.83 %.

The cumulative number of positive cases is 1, 24,328 out of which 1,21,626 have recovered leaving 748 active cases.

The total number of doses administered on November 10, 2021, is 8,088, the cumulative number of doses administered is 20,33,082(1st dose 12,56,919, 2nd dose 7,76,163).
