7 more Assam students back from Ukraine

New Delhi: Seven more students hailing from Assam have returned to Delhi from war-torn Ukraine on Friday, an official said.

On their arrival they were received by the officials from Assam Bhawan here, informed Joint Director of Assam’s DIPR DN Loying.

“They are staying in Assam House. They will fly to Guwahati and it will be arranged accordingly,” he said.

Loying also said that the number is likely to increase as more are scheduled to arrive. A total of 66 Assam students have arrived in the national capital so far from Ukraine, he added.
