Hyderabad: In a tragic incident, five members of a family, including three children, were killed and two children seriously injured when the wall of their hut collapsed in Kothapally village in Jogulamba Gadwal district of Telangana in the early hours Sunday.
The seven members of the family were asleep when a partition wall of their hut collapsed due to rain.
The injured children have been rushed to a hospital, according to police.
Expressing grief over the tragedy, Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao ascertained the details of the incident from minister Niranjan Reddy and mooted payment as an ex-gratia of Rs 5 lakh each to the next of kin of the deceased.
