Islamabad: Four security personnel were killed and nine others injured when an explosion hit their vehicle in Pakistan’s southwest Balochistan province on Monday, officials said.
The incident happened in the Bolan district where a truck of paramilitary troops from Balochistan Constabulary was attacked at the border area with Sibi district, the District Police Officer of Sibi, Yousuf Karim Bhanghar told media.
The nature of the explosion has not been determined yet, he said, adding that the area has been cordoned off for investigations.
The injured people were shifted to a nearby hospital where several of them are in critical condition, he added.
No group has claimed the attack yet.
