Kohima: All three Nagaland medical students who had been stranded in war-torn Ukraine, have reached India safely.
Two of the students have already arrived in Dimapur, while one is in Delhi on her way home.
According to sources one medical student of the Odessa National Medical University in Ukraine, Amenla Aier has reached her home at Dimapur on Saturday.
She travelled from Ukraine to Romania and moved out from Romania along with the other Indians to Delhi on Friday via London. She travelled five days since she crossed over the border from the city of Odessa in Ukraine to Moldova, from where she returned to Dimapur via Delhi.
Another medical student at Ternopil National Medical University in Ukraine Machi Yirakchang reached Mumbai from Budapest via Kuwait on Friday. He later flew to Delhi, where he plans to stay for a while.
The third medical student from Nagaland Olika Mlato Shikhu reached her hometown Dimapur from Delhi on Friday.
Sources said she landed in India from Poltava city of Ukraine via Poland on Wednesday from where she reached Dimapur.Â
