Imphal: A team of Imphal East police arrested three persons from Kyamgei Shantipur for possessing heroin powder and other items.
The arrested persons have been identified as Md. Taslimuddin (25 yrs) alias Taslim, son of Md. Ejaoddin of Lilong Tairen Makhong, Thoubal, Md. Mujibur alias Rafique (46 yrs) son of late Md. Abdul Manan alias Iboyai of Lilong Haoreibi Sambrukhong, Thoubal and Md. Fazul Haque (25 yrs) son of late Md. Nashib Ali of Lilong Chandakhong, Thoubal.
The police team seized 150 grams of Heroin powder, one Honda Ciaz car having Regn. No. MN06LA-8818, one purse containing Rs. 1,180 and two smart phones from their possession on Wednesday.
The arrested persons along with seized items were handed over to IBG-PS for further necessary action, as per a press note issued by the PRO, Manipur Police, Meghachandra Konjengbam.
