Tengnoupal: The second “District Hill Leaders Day and Meeyamgi Numit” for Tengnoupal District was held on August 26, 2022 at the Conference Hall of the Deputy Commissioner, Tengnoupal.
DC Tengnoupal, Mannuamching, interacting with the village heads/chairman appealed for registration of birth for newborn babies so as to enable the concerned department to issue birth certificates at the earliest and also stated that if online registration is not yet operational in the district, it should be issued manually.
She further instructed all the district-level officers to do their best to entertain and expedite the issues related to governance in the district. For the Jal Jeevan Mission in the district, the DC instructed the concerned department to check if potable drinking is adequately supplied throughout the district.
A total of 19(nineteen) Departments open stalls to assist and to distribute beneficial schemes to the people. In today’s event –CAF & PD issued ration cards to 620 beneficiaries; DPO/ICDS issued 14 nos. of PMMVY form and enrolled 47 nos. for Aadhaar card, PHED issued 1(one) booklet of Water Testing kit, Forest department distributed 626 nos. of sapling for planting, Health department issued 20 nos. CMHT cards, 30 nos. of beneficiaries were screened and 9(nine) people were vaccinated.
Revenue and Relief & Disaster departments received 1(one) query each, MSPCDL sold 120 nos. of 9w LED bulbs at a subsidized rate, Social Welfare received 18 nos. of applications for Manipur Old Age Pension Scheme and 04 nos. of applications for Widow Pension Scheme, ZEO received 1(one) application for school repairing and distributed 12 (twelve) nos. of school uniforms, RD &PR issued 17 nos. of Job cards and 2 nos. of work order for construction of Amrit Sarovar and also received 12 nos. of application for construction of PMAY-G houses.
Deputy Commissioner, Additional Superintendent of Police, Divisional Forest Officer, Sub Divisional Officers, Tengnoupal/ Machi/ Moreh and other District Level Officers and officials of all the line departments of the district interacted and assisted the people who turn up for availing beneficiary schemes
