Imphal: A combined team of District Police Kangpokpi, NAB, NCB, Forest Department Officials and 22 AR Kangpokpi, under the supervision of SP, Kangpokpi in presence of SDO, Champhai conducted destruction of illegal poppy plantation at the hill of Thotney village of Koubru Hill Range, which is under Reserved Forest Area on Tuesday.
During the drive about 25 acres of illegal poppy plantation were destroyed.
A regular case has been registered at Kangpokpi PS in this regard, said a press note from the PRO, Manipur Police.
