Imphal: With 21 persons from the general population testing positive and just 6 recoveries in the last 24 hours leading up to 5:00 am of Wednesday, the active cases has risen to 133 in Manipur, as per an official release from the Covid-19 Common Control Room.
The recovery rate in the state further slips to 98.27%.
Of the 21 persons (13 males, 8 females) from the general population, 10 of them are from Imphal West, 5 from Churachandpur, 4 from bishnupur and 1 each from Thoubal and Tengoupal. While, of the 6 recoveries, 3 of them were on home isolation and 3 were admitted to RIMS.
Meanwhile, Health department has instructed air passengers who travelled to the state on (i) April 10 by Indigo flight 6E– 2615 in rows 23– 29, by Indigo flight 6E-524 in rows 22-28 and (ii) on April 11 by Indigo flight 6E-172 in rows 1-5 and 6E-2251 in rows 10-16 to inform Covid Common Control Room 1800343818 or respective District Surveillance Officer (DSO).
The cumulative number of positive cases is 29,561 (General Population — 26,104 and Central Security Personnel — 3,457). The cumulative number of recovered cases is 29,052 (General Population — 25,615 and CAPF— 3,437). The number of active cases is 133 (general population 117 and CAPF 16).
As per the latest information, the number of people vaccinated on April 12, is 1815 and the cumulative vaccination number is 98781, the release added.
The total number of health care workers who have been vaccinated is 32092 include the Directors of RIMS and JNIMS, CMOs, DFWOs DIOs of districts, chairman cum managing directors of Shija Hospital and Babina Diagnostics’.
