Imphal: Manipur saw 15 new Covid-19 positive cases from the general population and 3 from the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) in the last 24 hours leading up to 5:00 am of Thursday. During the same period, 10 persons recovered, as per an official release from the Covid-19 Common Control Room.
The recovery rate in the state slides marginally to 98.25%.
Of the 15 persons (9 males, 6 females) from the general population who tested positive, 8 of them are from Imphal West, 3 from Churachandpur and 1 each from Bishnupur, Thoubal, Kakching and Kangpokpi. While, of the 10 recoveries, 6 of them were on home isolation and 3 were admitted SHRI and 1 was from CAPF.
Meanwhile, Health department has instructed air passengers who travelled to the state on (i) April 12Bangalore-Imphal Indigo flight 6E– 172 in rows 16–22, (ii) on April 13 Delhi-Imphal Air India flight AI-0889 in rows 16-22 to inform Covid Common Control Room 1800343818 or respective District Surveillance Officer (DSO).
The cumulative number of positive cases is 29,579 (General Population — 26,119 and Central Security Personnel — 3,460). The cumulative number of recovered cases is 29,062 (General Population — 25,624 and CAPF— 3,438). The number of active cases is 141(general population 123 and CAPF 18).
As per the latest information, the number of people vaccinated on April 14, is 2288 and the cumulative vaccination number is 101069, the release added.
The total number of health care workers who have been vaccinated is 32109 include the Directors of RIMS and JNIMS, CMOs, DFWOs DIOs of districts, chairman cum managing directors of Shija Hospital and Babina Diagnostics’.
