Hanoi: At least 13 people died and four others were missing on Saturday after a passenger boat sank offshore beach in Vietnam’s central Quang Nam province.
There were 39 people onboard, including 36 tourists and three cruise members, Vietnam News Agency cited local authorities as reporting.
The boat was transporting tourists from Cham Islands, a tourism hotspot in the province, to the shore when the accident happened amid unfavorable weather conditions.
Rescue forces till now found 35 people while the search is underway, they added.
