10 positive cases, no deaths, 8 recoveries Friday in Manipur

Imphal: In the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Friday, there was no report of any deaths in Manipur while 10 persons (3 males, 7  females)) from the general population and 1 personnel of the Central Armed Police Force tested positive, as per an official release from the Covid-19 Common Control Room.

The 10 persons who tested positive from the general population include 4 from Imphal West, 2 from Imphal East and 1 each from Kakching, Tamenglong, Tengnoupal and Chandel.

Meanwhile, 8 persons recovered from Home Isolation.

 The cumulative number of positive cases is 29,166 (General Population — 25,735 and Central Security Personnel — 3,431). The cumulative number of recovered cases is 28,737(General Population — 25, 322 and Central Security Personnel — 3,415). The number of active cases is 56 (general population 44 and CAPF 12). The recovery rate is 98.53 per cent.

Total number of those vaccinated Thursday is 3322 and the cumulative vaccination number is 19266.

The total number of health care workers who have been vaccinated is 16761. This include the Directors of RIMS and JNIMS, CMOs 78 persons were given Covid-19 vaccine on Sunday and that the cumulative no of people vac, DFWOs DIOs of districts, chairman cum managing directors of Shija Hospital and Babina Diagnostics’.
