Mumbai: Maharashtra Pradesh Congress Committee(MPCC) President Nana Patole on Thursday counted Maharashtra as an advanced state in the country and Mumbai an internationally renowned city.
Attacking Yogi, he said under the facade of giving importance to Mumbai and Maharashtra , companies are being sent to Gujarat, and also investment from Maharashtra to BJP-ruled Uttar Pradesh.
Mr Patole alleged that the ED government in Maharashtra is working on the instructions of the central government and as a part of it, the ED government is promoting Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath in the name of investment.
Mr Patole further said law and order in Uttar Pradesh is very bad. Mr Adityanath’s government is razing the homes of the poor and common man by running bulldozers in the absence of a court and a judge. Women, minorities, Dalit community are not safe in Yogi’s kingdom, they are living in fear,pointed Mr Patole.
“Mr Adityanath practices the politics of religious polarization and who would dare to invest in a state where politics is done and the government is run in the name of religion,” he asked.
“But with the help of the ED government in Maharashtra, efforts are being made to increase investment in Uttar Pradesh,” he added.
