Imphal: The Youth Affairs and Sports Department, Government of Manipur will be organizing a felicitation function in honour of Saikhom Mirabai Chanu, who won the silver medal in the 49 kg women weightlifting event in Tokyo Olympic 2021, on Tuesday, July 27 at City Convention Place compound.
Chief Minister N Biren Singh will be the chief guest of the function, YAS Minister, Lepao Haokip will be president while Dy CM, Y Joykumar and MLA Th Radheshyam who also happens to be the President of the Manipur Olympic Association will be the guests of honour.
