Imphal: Two PLA cadres including a woman were arrested by the Modi Battalion of Assam Rifles under the aegis of IGAR (South) from Chandanpokpi, Chandel district of Manipur on Sunday.
Based on specific input received from the Intelligence Agency regarding the presence of suspected PLA cadres in Gen A Chandanpokpi, troops of Modi Battalion, Assam Rifles launched an operation on the evening of 6 Nov 22 which led to the apprehension of two (one male and one female) PLA cadres, said a statement here on Monday.
The apprehended cadres were handed over to Chandel Police Station for further investigation.
