Geneva: The World Health Organization’s (WHO) expert team that visited the Chinese city of Wuhan to trace the origins of the novel coronavirus is planning to release its report in the next few days, confirmed the mission’s lead investigator Peter Ben Embarek on Friday.
Speaking at a Press Conference Ben Embarek said “The content is now complete, and frankly speaking, I expect that in the next few days, that whole process will be completed and we’ll be able to release it,”
The report was earlier scheduled to be released in the week of March 14-15.
The executive director of the WHO Health Emergencies Programme Mike Ryan said that the mission report would be first shared with the organization’s member states before being released publically.
