Imphal: A combined team of Assam Rifles and Nagaland police seized on Tuesday two pistols with four magazines, ammunition and other explosives from a passenger vehicle in Kohima.
The vehicle which was heading towards Manipur was intercepted by the combined team at 6 a.m.
The successful operation by Assam Rifles and the Police has foiled an attempt of a major incident by the inimical elements on the security forces/government agencies deployed in Manipur, a statement issued by PRO Defence said.
