Patna: Bihar Chief Minister Nitish Kumar on Saturday said that he is not indulged into caste and religion politics and claimed to work in the interest of all sections of the society.
While talking to the news persons after reviewing the progress of various developmental schemes during his Samadhan Yatra in Jamui district, Kumar said this and declined to make any comment on the statement of ulema-e- hind chief Maulana Mahmood Madani regarding Hindu Muslims.
Kumar said that he was pre occupied with his Yatra and was unaware of any such statement. However he maintained that he work in the interest of every section of the society.
Responding to the query related to cabinet expansion, the Chief Minister asked the news persons to ask from the Deputy Chief Minister about it and maintained that the number of ministers from constituent units of the Alliance has been fixed.
He said that the decisions of the alliance partners would be considered in this collection.
Kumar said after concluding the Samadhan Yatra on February 16 he would hold a meeting to review the problems of each and every place.
