Ukhrul: As part of the 75 districts across the country to launch a nationwide ” Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra” Campaign in order to raise awareness through outreach activities to achieve saturation of schemes and “Jan Bhagidari” to ensure that the last mile and the most vulnerable are reached and served effectively was successfully organised by the District Administration of Ukhrul at Mini-Secretariat on Wednesday.
Deputy Commissioner of Ukhrul, Zuringla Kengoo, addressed the gathering at the launching ceremony of the campaign stating that saturation of the eligible beneficiaries in flagship schemes and last-mile delivery is part of the deliberation. She further appealed to every section of society to participate and avail of the various benefits provided by the central and state governments. She later informed the campaign will continue till January 25, 2024.
Some of the key departments and their flagship schemes included Health & Family Welfare for PMJAY & CMHT, CAF & PD for PM Garib Kalyan Anna Yojana & PM Ujjwala Yojana, RD & PD for NRLM & PMAJ-G, Tribal Affairs & Hills for ST students Scholarship, Social Welfare for PM Poshan Abhiyan, PHED for Har Ghar Jal, Finance Department/ Banks for Jan Dhan Yojana, Jeevan Jyoti Bima Yojana, Suraksha Bima Yojana & Atal Pension Yojana and Agriculture Department for Nano Fertilizers.
