Itanagar: Vice-President M Venkaiah Naidu arrived here on Friday on a three-day visit to Arunachal Pradesh.

This is his maiden visit to the frontier state.

A special Indian Air Force aircraft carrying the Vice-President landed at the Raj Bhavan helipad, where he was accorded a warm and traditional welcome by state Governor Brig (Retd) Dr B D Mishra, Chief Minister Pema Khandu, Deputy Chief Minister Chowna Mein, Speaker Pasang Dorjee Sona and others.

“Arunachal is blessed by visit of Hon’ble Vice President of India Shri @MVenkaiahNaidu Ji. Accorded warm welcome to Hon’ble Vice President this morning at Raj Bhawan helipad along with Hon Guv @BrigMishra Ji, Speaker @pasang_sona Ji, DCM @ChownaMeinBJP Ji and other dignitaries,” Khandu tweeted.
