Lucknow: Uttar Pradesh recorded 26 new COVID cases in the last 24 hours while 15 people also recovered from the virus, the state government said on Saturday.
Now, the number of active cases in the state has come down to less than 300. Currently, the state houses 250 active cases. The recovery rate of Corona is 98.7 per cent and yesterday’s daily positivity rate was 0.01 per cent, UP’s Additional Chief Secretary Information Navneet Sehgal said, here on Saturday.
According to the latest status of Covid, 24 districts of the state are free from Corona. These districts are Aligarh, Amethi, Amroha, Ayodhya, Baghpat, Ballia, Banda, Basti, Bijnor, Chitrakoot, Deoria, Fatehpur, Ghazipur, Gonda, Hamirpur, Hardoi, Hathras, Lalitpur, Mahoba, Muzaffarnagar, Pilibhit, Rampur, Shamli and Sitapur.
In the last 24 hours, 2,31,390 Covid samples were examined and so far, 7,32,18,111 Covid samples have been investigated in the state.
Not a single new case of infection was found in 63 districts, while in single digit patients were found in 12 districts.
So far, 16 ,86,323 residents of the state have become healthy after getting rid of corona infection.
The number of Covid vaccination in the state has crossed 7,69,93,000. So far, more than 06.46 million citizens have received at least one dose of the vaccine.
