Lucknow: In a major decision, the Uttar Pradesh government has ordered the withdrawal of all cases related to violation of Covid-19 rules and regulations on the state.
Over 3 lakh cases would be withdrawn at one go, cases which were registered under section 188 of the IPC and other non-serious sections since March 2020.
The government issued the order here on Tuesday directing all the DMs to initiate process to withdraw the cases following the legal procedure.
