Gangtok:Union Minister,Commerce & Industries Piyush
Goyal, having arrived here on Friday, chaired a meeting with Heads of
the Departments, at Tashiling Secretariate.
The Minister was apprised of all the developmental activities, he
wanted to take stock of.Minister after a patient hearing and watching
the power point presentation had certain suggestions to make.
‘ The officers should work towards increasing the revenue of State
from Organic production. Explore more Tourism feasibility,’ said the
Minister.
The Minister was briefed about policies , programmes of Centre
being implemented in Sikkim. He asked about exporting and testing
facilities for sustainable Organic agriculture.
Minister was requested to arrange for early release of Central
assistance, which he said he will look into.
