Gangtok: Union Minister of State for Chemicals & Fertilizers, New and Renewable Energy Bhagwanth Khuba on Thursday arrived here on a three-day visit to the state.
The Minister traveled by road from Bagdogra airport in West Bengal and was welcomed at Rangpo, the entry point to East Sikkim, by Sub-Divisional MagistrateThendup Lepcha and others.
The Minister was accompanied by Sheela Khuba, Dr. Vaishnavi K.Additional Private Secretary, and other officials.
On his way to the State Capital, he visited the NHPC guest house in Siliguri, West Bengal. He planted a sapling at the premises of the NHPC guest house in Siliguri.
