Imphal: A combined team of Manipur police and Assam Rifles apprehended two cadres of UNLF (K) in the general area of Viewland Zone III, Ukhrul district on Wednesday.
The team also seized Rs 1,71,500 in cash, ammunition, multiple mobile phones, wireless communication sets and substantial amounts of drugs.
The apprehended cadres were handed over to Manipur Police.
Session of menstrual hygiene
An interactive session on Menstrual Hygiene was conducted at the Kendriya Vidyalaya, Leimakhong in Manipur by an Army Medical officer. Sixty-one girls attended the session.
The conducting officer presented the relevant details of the relevant topic and clarified queries and taboos related to menstrual health management, menstrual hygiene, use of sanitary pads, menstrual cup etc.
School staff present during the lecture expressed gratitude to the medical officer for the valuable guidance.
