Imphal: Two persons from the general population tested Covid-19 positive, while two persons recovered from home isolation in the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Thursday in Manipur. During this period there were no reports of any deaths, as per an official release from the Covid-19 Common Control Room.
The recovery rate now stands at 98.63%.
The two persons (females) from the the general population who tested positive are from Imphal East and the two recoveries were on home isolation.
The cumulative number of positive cases is 29,325(General Population — 25,890 and Central Security Personnel — 3,435). The cumulative number of recovered cases is 28,924 (General Population — 25,495 and CAPF— 3,429). The number of active cases is 28 (general population 26 and CAPF 2).
As per the latest information, the number of people vaccinated on March 17, is 843 and the cumulative vaccination the number is 78662, the release added.
The total number of health care workers who have been vaccinated is 30958 which include the Directors of RIMS and JNIMS, CMOs, DFWOs DIOs of districts, chairman cum managing directors of Shija Hospital and Babina Diagnostics’.
There are no severe reactions/allergies, adverse event following immunization till date. There were 47 mild reactions who were on home care and all of them have now fully recovered.
