Asansol:Two persons were killed and as many wounded when a four-wheeler, in which they were returning home at Panagarh from a marriage party in Dhanbad, hit a cemented pillar at Kalna More on NH 2 in West Bardhaman midnight last night, police said on Tuesday.
Police said all the occupants, including the driver of the vehicle, fell unconscious in the impact of the crash, two of them succumbed to their wounds in the Asansol district hospital. The deceased include the driver.
The other two wounded persons have been admitted at the same hospital with critical multiple injuries.
The victims were returning home from Dhanbad ( Jharkhand) after attending the marriage party
there.
