Imphal: A team of NAB Police Station arrested two inter-state drug traffickers from Mantripukhri near the gate of the New Secretariat building along NH-2 on Monday.
The accused have been identified as Md. Abdul Joynul (49 years), son of Md. Abdul Jabar of Kwakta Makha Leikai, Bishnupur District and one unidentified person.
From them, 20 bundles of WY tablets weighing 24.07 kg in total were seized from a Tata Truck bearing regd. No. NL-01G-7464 which was in their possession.
In this regard, a case has been registered at Narcotics and Affairs of Border, Police Station for further investigation, as per a press note issued by the PRO, Manipur Police
