Imphal: Manipur police arrested two active members of the banned RPF/PLA organisation, namely, Laishram Imocha alias Ibungochouba Singh, 55, son of late L. Pushkor Singh of Singjamei Thongam Leikai and Sanasam Iboyaima alias Boyai alias Lambi, 50, son of S. Irabanta Singh of Singjamei Okram Leikai on Thursday.
They were involved in extortion of money from the general public. Four mobile phones, one white Honda Activa and one wallet containing Rs. 5140 one Aadhaar card and one voter ID were recovered from the arrested persons.
The arrested persons along with the seized items were handed over to Singjamei Police Station, said a press note from the PRO, Manipur Police.
