Thiruvananthapuram:Turkish Ambassador to India Firat Sunel has called on Kerala Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan and discussed about improving cooperation in the field of tourism, health and culture.
“Discussed with Turkish Ambassador to India @firatsunel the possibilities of collaboration in the sectors of tourism, health and culture. He promised that a flight service by @TurkishAirlines from Istanbul to Kochi is under consideration by Turkish airlines” the Chief Minister tweeted after the meeting with the diplomat on Wednesday.
The Turkish diplomat also called on Governor Arif Mohammed Khan at Kerala Raj Bhavan, sources said.
Earlier, Firat Sunel said he will visit two cities, Thiruvananthapuram and Kozhikode, and attend the Kerala Literature Festival as part of the release of the Malayalam version of his book “In the shade of the weeping willows” (Salkım Söğütlerin Gölgesinde).
