Three persons test positive, two recovers Saturday in Manipur

Imphal: Three-person from the general population and three personnel from the Central Armed Police Force (CAPF) tested Covid-19 positive, while two persons recovered in the last 24 hours leading up to 5 pm of Saturday in Manipur. During this period there were no reports of any deaths, as per an official release from the Covid-19 Common Control Room.

The recovery rate now stands at 98.64%.

The positive persons include 2 from Bishnupur and 1 from Thoubal while the two persons who recovered were on home isolation.

The cumulative number of positive cases is 29,332 (General Population — 25,894 and Central Security Personnel — 3,438). The cumulative number of recovered cases is 28,931(General Population — 25,502 and CAPF— 3,429). The number of active cases is 28 (general population 23 and CAPF 5).

As per the latest information, the number of people vaccinated on March 19, is 752 and the cumulative vaccination number is 80166, the release added.

The total number of health care workers who have been vaccinated is 31056 which include the Directors of RIMS and JNIMS, CMOs, DFWOs DIOs of districts, chairman cum managing directors of Shija Hospital and Babina Diagnostics’.

There are no severe reactions/allergies, adverse event following immunization till date. There were 47 mild reactions who were on home care and all of them have now fully recovered.
