Pune: For the sovereign and comprehensive interest of the country which includes growth, social harmony, goodwill, and strengthening of democracy, all the Congressmen of the country must come together and support the mission of ” Bharat Jodo Yatra” started by Rahul Gandhi, said Maharashtra Congress spokesperson Gopaldada Tiwari here on Sunday.
Keep aside the differences or opinions within the party, we should come together since it is dire need of hours to oppose BJP’s ‘country-destructive’ politics, said Senior Congress leader Tiwari.
He appealed to all to send a message of unity against the existing government by participating in the all-party ‘Bharat Jodo’ Yatra under the leadership of Rahulji Gandhi. This is the purpose behind the said journey to know the feeling of the public about the ‘current state of the country. People have to know about the misguidance and misdirection of the BJP.
The rampant spread of fanaticism by those in power, the erosion of constitutional values, the move towards totalitarianism, the rising inflation – the role of the ruling party in not allowing the discussion of unemployment in the parliament, should be known by our countrymen, he added.
Ways of stuffing material wealth down the throats of ‘entrepreneurial friends’, increasing bad loans of national banks, the rising rate of land grabbing, the collapse of the economy and its growth, the multiplied debt on the country, and other burning issues have to focus on yatra. Keeping in mind all serious matters and the burning situation of the country, an initiative of Gandhi, along with the leaders of various parties, organizations, and ideologies, a 3570 km ‘Join India’ yatra, is organized. for the wider national interest and to save the country, this country-wide padayatra has been started under the flag of ‘Rashtriya Triranga’.
This Yatra is getting huge response from various levels said Senior congress leader Tiwari while adding that there is a feeling of the Congress workers that no Congress leader who is building such a country should remain aloof.
The Congress party which brought freedom to the country a true soldier of Congress cannot sit in such a decisive house. Tiwari appealed that it is the duty of all Congressmen to make this yatra a success and first of all to ‘save the country, he said.
