Imphal: The Thadou Community International (TCI) has expressed profound gratitude to Sapam Kunjakeswor Singh (Keba), MLA of Patsoi Assembly Constituency, for his prompt and supportive response to their open letter addressed to Chief Minister N. Biren Singh and the people of Manipur.
In an official statement, TCI acknowledged Singh’s thoughtful recognition of their concerns during the Zero Hour of the Sixth Session of the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly on August 9, 2024.
The organization hopes that other MLAs, civil society organizations, distinguished personalities, and the general public of Manipur will join Singh in addressing their concerns.
Furthermore, TCI reiterated its earnest appeal to Chief Minister N. Biren Singh and the Speaker to respond positively to their open letter dated August 8, 2024.
The letter emphasizes the accurate nomenclature for the Thadou tribe, urging a formal statement on the matter during the ongoing sixth session of the 12th Manipur Legislative Assembly.
