Telangana: BJP releases first list of 52 candidates for Assembly election

BJP National General Secretary & Incharge, Headquarter Arun Singh in a release said the Central Election Committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party met on October 20 under the Presidentship of party National President Jagat Prakash Nadda.

Hyderabad: The Central Election Committee of the Bharatiya Janata Pary on Sunday released the first list of 52 candidates for the Assembly election to be held in Telangana on November 30.


BJP National General Secretary & Incharge, Headquarter Arun Singh in a release said the Central Election Committee of the Bharatiya Janata Party met on October 20 under the Presidentship of party National President Jagat Prakash Nadda.


He said the meeting was attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, Defence Minister Rajnath Singh, Home and Cooperation Minister Amit Shah and all other members of the Central Election Committee of the BJP.


Of the total 52 candidates, there are 12 women candidates, 8 candidates from Scheduled Castes (SCs), and 6 candidates from Scheduled Tribes (STs).


The 52 candidates announced by the party are :
