Kangra: Tamilnadu defeated Bihar among girls and Chandigarh defeated Assam among boys during 47th under 14 basketball National Championship at Kàngra on Thursday.
Manish Sharma State President Basketball Association told UNI that in the league matches today . nineteen màtches were played which included nine matches played 18 girl teams.
He said that among girls Tamilnadu defeated Delhi by 45-25 and another league match MP defeated Telengana by same score of 45-25.
He said that in another league match Haryana beat host Himachal Pradesh by 45-20. Chandigarh beat Assam in a one sided match by 54-12. Uttrakhand beat Jammu and Kashmir by 30-12 .
In another league match Orrisa beat Andra Pradesh by 45 -44 in a well contested league match, Pondicherry beat Jarkhand by 34-18, Chatisgarh girls won league match beating Gujrat by 64-38 and Rajasthan girls defeated UO by 37-31 in the league matches.
In boys league match Uttrakhand beat Gujrat boys by 45-44 in a well contested match and AP defeated Gao by 67 – 23 in a one sided match . Kerala boys defeated Assamby 51 -42 , Jarkhand defeated Orrisa by 42-36 , Tamilnadu defeated Bihar by 71-31, UP defeated Chandigarh by 55-08 in a one sided match.Rajasthan boys defeated UP Boys by 37-31, Haryana beat Mexorum by44-41 in a well contested match today.
In another league match AP defeated Uttrakhand by 46-34 and Karnataka defeated Telengana in a league match by 57-53 today.
