Tamenglong: Deputy Commissioner Tamenglong District, has warned of issuing show cause notice against officers who do not attend the first round of training from February 19-22, 2022 and second round of training the February 19,21, 2022.
Deputy Commissioner Tamenglong Hungyo Worshang further warned those absentees stringent necessary action including even suspension of services in case of non-response of the show cause. If they still continue repeated absence and callous negligence of election duty, then strict action shall be taken ex-parte against them.
Polling personnel who were absent during the second round of training have to furnish explanation to the show cause notice on or before the February 24, 2022.The DLOs concerned shall be responsible for the reply of their respective staff on time.
Meanwhile, the Tamenglong DC on Thursday issued a notice ithat all polling agents and counting agents of all contesting candidates will be allowed to enter polling station and counting hall on the production of certificate of double dose of Covid-19 vaccination.
In case they are not vaccinated or single dose vaccinated, an RT-PCR negative report from an authorized laboratory taken within 72 hours from the start of polling or counting is required, the notice also added.
