Imphal: Manipur recorded one Covid related death, 35 new positive cases (29 general population, 6CAPF) and 18 recoveries in the last 24 hours leading up to 2 pm of Sunday, as per an official release from the Health Department.
The lone person who succumbed to the deadly virus was from Imphal East, he had co-morbidities and had not been vaccinated fro Covid. The cumulative death toll in the state now stands at 1971.
Of the 29 persons who tested positive from the general population, 22 are from Imphal West, two each from Imphal East and Churachandpur and one each from Kakcing and Thoubal.
Altogether, 1,424 persons were tested for a positivity rate of 2.5 %.
Meanwhile, 22 persons recovered and were discharged, eight of them from home isolation, 10 from CCCs and four from JNIMS. The recovery rate in the state now stands at 97.88 %.
The cumulative number of positive cases in the state now stands at 1, 25,152 out of which 1,22,496 have recovered leaving 685 active cases.
The total number of doses administered on November 27, 2021, is 6,187, the cumulative number of doses administered is 21,38,85d3 (1st dose 12,77,512, 2nd dose 8,61,341).
