Pherzawl: As part of the State Government’s ‘100 Action Points for First 100 Days’, a Sub-Division Development Monitoring Mission meeting along with District officers, SDOs/BDOs of Pherzawl District was held at the Office Chamber of the Pherzawl Deputy Commissioner, Old DC Complex, Churachandpur.
B John Tlangtinkhuma, IAS, Secretary (Labour & Emp/PHED) and Prabhari Officers for Pherzawl District presided over the meeting Monday.
During the meeting, Tlangtinkhuma envisage the vision of the State Government led by the Chief Minister towards initiation of citizen-centric governance, fill gaps in infrastructure deficit and disparity, promotion of revenue generation within Pherzawl & Vangai Range, rapid economic growth, inclusive development and for stability of the region.
He pointed out that the first step should be towards identifying products marketable in the region especially Horticulture & Agriculture products and collection of data (old age pension, drinking water facility, CMHT Card & Ration Card) households having no source of income.

Joseph Pauline Kamson, the Deputy Commissioner said the State Government led by Chief Minister is monitoring the situation with seriousness attached to serve the people effectively throughout the five years. Expressing his concern that the target is achieved, the DC urged all District Level Officers to ensure that the poorest of the poor in the district can avail all schemes and benefits. He stated that the District Administration will conduct door to door survey to ensure development reaches every person in the region.
In today’s meeting, various DLOs made PPT highlighting the achievements of the departments.
The meeting was attended by ADC Chingakham Shachi, MCS; the two Prabhari Officers Haotinkhup Haokip, MCS & Ngangbam Roman Singh, MFS; Addl SP Lunzamung Tungnung, MPS and DLOs.
