Gangtok: Earthquake of 5.4 magnitude hit Sikkim at 8.49 pm today.National Centre for seismology,earlier indicated Sikkim Nepal Border.
However now ,it has been reviewed and confirmed as Sikkim ( India)- Bhutan border also.The latitude :27.23 and Longitude 88.84,depth was 10 kms.Epicentre was East of Gangtok.The tourists ran out of their rooms and appeared scared.It shook twice within a minute.After shocks are also expected at night.
Affected countries due to another quake of 5.0 Tangta Khasmahal include, Bangladesh, Nepal, India, Bhutan and China.
