Gangtok: Sikkim reported four fresh COVID cases during the past 24 hours, state health authorities said on Friday

With 46 active cases, the total number of cases has spiked to 6,245.

So far, 5,965 have been recuperated from the infection and the total death figure remains 135, said Sonam Bhutia, Information, Education and Communication Officer, Health Department.

The department also informed that as many as 2,403 health and frontline workers along with those above 45 years of age have been inoculated in a day.
