Gangtok: Sikkim recorded 222 new cases of COVID-19, taking the total number of infections to 21795.
Of these, 19082 people have been discharged after recovering from the virus. Due to one more death, the death figure reached 312, said Sonam Bhutia, Information, Education and Communication officer, Health Department.
Currently, the state’s recovery rate is 87.5 per cent.
