Gangtok: Sikkim recorded 398 fresh Covid infection, increasing the total number of active cases to 796, a state health official on Wednesday said.
The Himalayan state’s overall caseload so far is 33351, of whom 31747 have been discharged on recovery, the official said.
There were no reports of any fresh fatality due to the disease, as the death count remained 409, said Sonam Bhutia, Information, Education, and Communication officer, Health Department.
