Gangtok: Sikkim has recorded 27 new cases of coronavirus and one death, the state health department said on Wednesday.
Sonam Bhutia, Information, Education and Communication Officer, Health Department, said, “27 new Covid-19 cases have been reported in the state, taking the total tally to 31,783. One death has been registered in the past 24 hours.”
The total of deaths recorded till now stands at 392.
With 30,892 recoveries so far, there are 181 active cases in the state, Bhutia added.
