Siaha: Deputy Commissioner & Chairman, Siaha District Disaster Management Authority Kesavan R,IAS prayer for Oxygen Concentrators to ACT Grants (a not-for-profit movement created by the VC and start-up community in India) and Swasth Alliance (a not-for-profit alliance of over 150+ healthcare organisations), New Delhi had born successful fruits and 18 Oxygen Concentrators, each costing Rs.1,12,000/- were sent to Siaha district by ACT Grants & Swasth Alliance, New Delhi.
Those 18 Oxygen Concentrators arrived at Siaha, this evening. Kesavan duly handed over these 18 Oxygen Concentrators to Dr.C.Hnichho, CMO and Dr. C. Lalrosanga, DMS at a brief function held at the front yard of DC office, here at Siaha, Wednesday.
These 18 Oxygen concentrators will be further distributed to District Hospital and 4 PHCs of Siaha District, each PHC will get 2 oxygen concentrators and the remaining 10 will be allotted to District Hospital, Siaha.
Speaking at the occasion Kesavan Profusely thanked ACT Grants and Swasth Alliance, New Delhi for their benovelance and expressed his sincere hope that “these machines will go a long way in saving precious lives in the course of our fight against Covid-19 pendamic.”
He informed officials of Medical Department that he had prayed to some other donors organisation for others medical equipments as well, and he was quite hopeful of another windfall in near future.
