Security Forces rescue four abducted victims in Manipur

Imphal: Assam Rifles, in a joint operation with Manipur Police Commandos, Thoubal rescued four kidnapped victims in Charangpat on May 19.

Credible intelligence was received about the abduction of four individuals from Nambol, Bishnupur District. In a collaborative effort, Assam Rifles and Yairipok Police established a surveillance point to intercept the abductors. 

The joint team swiftly reached the location and intercepted the suspected vehicles. On interception, the kidnappers panicked and abandoned the individuals and fled from the location.

All four kidnapped victims were safely rescued and handed over to the police, according to a press note from the PRO, IGAR(S).
